Released: July 31, 2026 (Steam app 2593340). v0.5.11.2196 introduces World Rules for death inventory, moves Friendly Fire into the same panel for multiplayer hosts, rebalances fish and cave insects for collectors, and ships a wide stability pass across achievements, tools, and co-op.

NEW World Rules: Keep Backpack on Death
A new World Rules option lets you disable “Drop Backpack on Death” under Game Options → World.
- Default for new worlds: ON (you keep your backpack when you die).
- Single-player: change World Rules directly in options.
- Multiplayer: host only can change the rule; it syncs to all players and posts a chat message when toggled.

Friendly Fire moved to World Rules (MP)
The Friendly Fire toggle now lives under World Rules and applies to multiplayer only. Hosts manage both death-drop and friendly-fire behavior from one place before inviting guests.
