Wonderia v0.5.12.2201 — Comic Progress, Collectibles & Bug Fixes

Released: August 1, 2026 (Steam app 2593340). v0.5.12.2201 is a quality-of-life and stability patch: comic books and museum collectibles now show clear personal status, forest butterflies were rebalanced, Great Serpent damage was toned down, and a long list of combat, quest, and circuit bugs were fixed.

Comic books: learning progress at a glance

Comic book detail screens now show your personal learning progress. When you finish every page, the entry is marked “Fully learned” so you can tell at a glance which lore items you have completed versus started.

Handy if you are chasing museum completion or just want to know which story beats you still owe yourself on the couch.

Museum collectibles: donation status

Collectibles tied to the museum now display one of two states:

  • “Can be donated to the museum” — you have the item and it is ready to hand in.
  • “Donated” — already contributed; no more guessing from inventory alone.

See also the map for exhibit locations and quest markers from recent patches.

Forest butterfly rebalance

Butterfly spawns in the forest were rebalanced. Time Traveler Butterfly and Flame Vortex Butterfly appear in more areas, making collection runs less seed-dependent.

Combat: Great Serpent attack power

Great Serpent attack power was reduced to 75% of its previous value. Normal fights should feel less punishing; see boss guide for broader encounter tips.

Luban’s paintable bathtub — temporarily removed

The “Paintable bathtub” listing was temporarily removed from Luban’s shop while the item is reworked.

  • Players who already bought it may temporarily not see the recipe — this is expected during the rework window.
  • The item is planned to return automatically when the rework ships; no manual action needed.

Crafting context: crafting hub.

Bug fixes

  • Forest Passage Host challenge — fixed continuation breaking mid-run.
  • Marvin’s RV task timers — no longer go negative.
  • Main boss — fixed spawning more than once after area switch or reload.
  • Delay Module — circuit signal failure corrected.
  • Map Sync Station — interaction state no longer wrong after re-entering the world.
  • Gold Bullets — usable again.
  • Consumable ranged throw — attempted fix for quickly switching held items after a throw incorrectly consuming the newly selected item.

Dungeon and circuit runners: dungeons.

What to do after updating

  1. Steam → Wonderia → verify v0.5.12.2201 (or newer).
  2. Open comic and collectible detail pages to confirm new status text.
  3. Retry any Passage Host or Map Sync Station runs that soft-locked before patch.
  4. Re-test Gold Bullets and Delay Module circuits if you filed bugs.
  5. Skim 2196 for Keep Backpack on Death world rules if you skipped it.

2201 is the “I know what I’ve learned and what I’ve donated” patch — update before your next museum or lore completion push.
